Hello!
My name is Dr. Blake Richardson, and have been the conductor of the Tuscaloosa Youth Orchestra since 2013. I’m excited to work with the area’s most talented young musicians. We are fortunate that School of Music faculty and graduate/undergraduate students also lend their talents to the ensemble.
Throughout the year, we will rehearse weekly, perform concerts together, and explore exciting pieces from the most important composers.
